Welcome to Lindsey Grove Church

Hi, and welcome to Lindsey Grove Church (LGC). I thought for our first blog post, we should tell you a little more about us than what you find on the About page. We are a small Christian Church that loves Jesus. We do not assign a specific denominational name to ourselves. We are Christians and we believe everything in the Bible. The Holy Bible is the only rule book that we follow for how we are to believe and how we are to act. We teach and study from Genesis to Revelation. In other words, we teach the whole Bible from the start to finish. The Pastor teaches and preaches from a King James Version Bible. That being said, he also studies from multiple different translations, including researching original language meanings from the Hebrew and Greek. We have awesome Bible studies where we really dig in deep to find what the Word has to tell us. It is amazing how that when you study very deep, the Word starts to ‘connect the dots’ between scriptures in the Bible. If you do not have a local church that you call your home, come pay us a visit.

I truly love our song services. We do not have all of the fancy spot lights and smoke machines and sound equipment, or even a band. The whole congregation joins together and we all sing songs of worship to our Lord. We sang lots of songs from the Hymnal, special printed selections, and just the chorus’ that we have learned over the years. We also have some very talented singers who sing solos and lead the congregation in special songs. We even take one Sunday night per month and dedicate it totally to singing and sharing testimonies. LGC is very family oriented. We may not share the same last name, but we do share the same Heavenly Father and we love each other like family. My church family is just as important to me as my family that I live with. We are not a church where you can miss service and no one notices. People at LGC are more than just a ‘member’ and more than just an ‘attendee’.
